The Honorable Elton Gallegly
U.S. House of Representatives
Washington, D.C. 20515

Dear Representative Gallegly:

As AMVETS National Commander, I am pleased to support the legislation you have introduced, which seeks to place a plaque honoring veterans of the Vietnam War whose names cannot be placed on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, but who died as a result of their service in the war. Establishing a plaque recognizing the efforts of this group of Vietnam veterans will help to ensure that those men and women who have sacrificed for their country receive the honor they deserve. AMVETS is proud of your efforts in helping to recognize the achievements of these great veterans.

Yours in loyalty and service

Charles L. Taylor

AMVETS National Commander
