LZ RATLIFF

WHAT A TIME

by David Martin

I think it can be said that everyone enjoyed the Reunion in Shelbina, Missouri.

A BIG THANKS needs to go out to the Ratliff Family. Arthur and Cy donated the Hogs for the Bar-B-Que on Saturday and took allot of time out of their busy week to host us. BOY, does Rat have a grill!

I know Jigger and I appreciate having a nice home to stay in with old friends that feel like family. Even if we hadn't seen Rat in twenty years and had never meet Cy.

I heard comments about how therapeutic the reunion was like we had not been 'apart for so many years, and how it was a great family atmosphere. I think all who came were pleasantly surprised.

Twenty years had changed some of us. Balding, a few additional pounds, but I must say, we have held up pretty good over the years.

I think Randy Kunkleman was the Company Photographer at Camp Eagle. I didn't get to see all of his slides but I know I will eventually. There were a lot of great pictures to be seen and taken at the Reunion

I hope to have the VCR tapes from the Reunion edited by next month. We will put information on how to obtain them on the web site as soon as they are available.
